Lab time is between 7:45-8:20 in the morning and 1:00-3:00 in the afternoons (when there are no pre-scheduled workshops). It is a time to work on class assignments. For example, one assignment in the Oral Communication class was to persuade other students to read a particular book. During computer lab time, students used the Internet to find information about the book and its author and to develop their PowerPoint presentations on why one should or should not read the book.
