What's new?
It has been a while since the last post so let's catch up on a couple of things:
23 of the most dangerous terrorists in the world escaped a Yemeni prison. Intelligence officers were probably too busy listening in on Jessica Simpson’s phone calls.
At 3M Company HQ in nearby Maplewood Minnesota President Bush told an audience, “In order to stay competitive, we have got to lead the world in research and development and got to lead the world in having people, scientists and engineers, that are capable of helping America stay on the cutting edge of technology,” It’s just a thought, but maybe it would help if he didn’t cut $12.7 Billion in student aid.
Scooter Libby has a trial date for the obstruction of justice charges surrounding the investigation into the release of CIA undercover agent Valerie Plame’s name. I hope this destroys him.
This is super funny, Watch it. Love it!
Something tells me this is going to be a good year for the Dems, check out this poll!
Finally, the woman credited with starting the feminist movement died over the weekend. Betty Friedan was 85. This is a good time to remember her great legacy, and to acknowledge the incredible amount of work we still have ahead of us to see her vision of equality fulfilled.
Any other big news? Post it!
