Sara Dady Withdraws From The 64A House Race

I just received this e-mail from Sara Dady:

    "
    Dear DFL Delegates and Alternates,

I am withdrawing my name for the DFL endorsement and my bid for Minnesota House seat 64A. I have decided that I do not have enough support to justify going into convention tomorrow. While I am disappointed that my campaign never really gained the momentum I'd hoped for, I am glad to have run a strong campaign focused on raising state revenue by increasing the paychecks of lower and middle income working families.

As I have said throughout my campaign, I am committed to building a stronger DFL- as such- I am pleased to announce that I have agreed to bring my liberal voice and perspective to conservative talk radio. Starting April 15th, I will co-host The Patriot Insider show with Mark Yost, AM 1280 The Patriot, on Saturdays from 9am-11am. I welcome the challenge of bringing lively, bipartisan conversation on Minnesota politics to the airwaves.

As you know, being a delegate is a serious responsibility. Effectively, 260 (approximately 60% of delegates) or so DFLers will make a choice for a district of over 36,000. I encourage you to review each candidate objectively and to evaluate who best will give people a reason to vote for the DFL, and not just against Republican policy, before you cast that first ballot.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow and hope you'll stop to chat with me.

    Sincerely,

    Sara Dady"

No, she withdrew by e-mail before convention day. I assume her supports either did not show up or split to one of the other candidates.

Oh...no, she wasn't there. I didn't see her at least, and I feel like someone might have mentioned if they had seen her at some point.
