Zimbo's Convention Update
Some Blog called "Zimbo's Political Blotter" seemed to have news about our 64a convention right away. Here is what they reported:
After a tough convention MN House District 64a endorsed Erin Murphy today. Lasting over eight marathon hours, Erin lead on every vote tabulation after the first ballot, with Ian Keith and Don Arnosti close behind.
After the fourth ballot, Don Arnosti dropped out without endorsing a candidate--allowing his supporters to choose on their own. At that point, Keith and Murphy went head to head. Upon learning that Murphy had pulled even further ahead, Keith dropped out, paving the way for Murphy to be unanimously endorsed from the floor.
Here is a shot from a cellphone camera that Zimbo was able to obtain, taken from the floor of the convention:

Wasn't Ian Keith ahead on the first ballot?
