General Information
MacReads 2005 is an opportunity for the students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and neighbors of Macalester College to join together to read and discuss captivating fiction and non-fiction books.
MacReads gives you a chance to engage with others from the Macalester community both face-to-face and on-line. Participants are encouraged to join or form small reading groups of a dozen or fewer people and meet with each other regularly to discuss the selected books. You can also participate on-line through the MacReads virtual reading group. In addition, you’ll find interesting and useful information and resources intended to enhance your reading experience on this website.
To add even more depth to your MacReads experience, speakers, films and special presentations will be made on campus. These events will be publicized under events.
