Don Quixote

Don Quixote turns 400 this year. To celebrate, the Macalester community is reading this delightful classic by Miguel de Cervantes. Join us, and rediscover what it means to be a legend in one's own mind.

Time Frame
Informal MacReads discussions and gatherings about Don Quixote began in August and goes into Fall Semester 2005.

Recommended Translations
MacReads recommends participants read the marvelous and accessible new translation by Edith Grossman (2003).
