About the Author

Tracy Kidder is a Pulitzer-Prize winning author along with numerous other literary awards. Kidder is considered a literary journalist.  Literary journalism is a form of nonfiction that combines factual reporting with narrative techniques normally associated with writing fiction.  Kidder spent three years travelling with Dr. Paul Farmer and based on an interview with the Huffington Post, revealed that he considered Mountains Beyond Mountains as his best book.
