Meetings
MAFEL meets on the second Tuesday of every other month for a total of
five meetings a year plus a conference or event. These meetings allow
for interactions with professionals experienced in education, social
service, and corporate settings to asses, develop, and enhance internship
and field experience programs.

Standing committees
Membership: sends letters once a year, in December,
to remind current members of annual dues payment and solicits new members.
Periodically, may engage in various activities with other organizations
or committees to recruit new members.
Grant: meets to review applications
for MAFEL Professional Development Grants on an as-needed basis.
Ad hoc committees
At any given time, an ad hoc committee may be formed to take
care of business before the organization, regular or sporadic, i.e.
