Posting your Internship Opportunities

When to Post a Position

Wherever you choose to post your internship opportunity, we highly recommend you re-submit it throughout the year to keep it fresh to both students and colleges. It is also helpful to post positions at least 2-3 weeks before the start of the semester, as students often face a deadline when registering an internship for academic credit. Consider updating position information at the following times:

  • August for the Fall term
  • October/November for the January and Spring terms
  • February/March for Summer

Of course, colleges run on different schedules. It's a good idea to check the academic calendar of the colleges from which you plan to solicit interns.
