Meetings

MAFEL meets on the second Tuesday of every other month for a total of five meetings a year plus a conference or event. These meetings allow for interactions with professionals experienced in education, social service, and corporate settings to assess, develop, and enhance internship and field experience programs.

We will have some structured networking time while collecting trends and topics to cover in the coming year, so bring your new ideas and questions worth exploring!

Science Museum of Minnesota in the Argon Room on level 6.

You can get to the museum by riding the Riverway Elevator or walking up the musical stairs from the lobby (level 5).

Best Practices in Performance Management

Presenters: Lisa Negstad, nonprofit strategist, specializes in designing training  that uses creative and engaging methods, leverages individual strengths,  and produces sustainable learning. A graduate of Yale University’s M.B.A.  program and Luther College, Lisa held senior leadership and management  positions in several (international and U.S. based) nonprofit  organizations before starting her company, Negstad Consulting, LLC. Lisa has directly supervised over 70  individuals in various types of departments.
