Intern Tranportation Grant Application

2010-2011 Intern Scholarship Guidelines for Organizations

Minnesota Association for Experiential Learning

 

Selection Criteria (awards based on…)

  • Hold MAFEL membership
  • Quality of internship job description
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Applicant organization holds not-for-profit, 501 © (3) status, according to federal tax criteria.

Form of Award: Scholarship Stipend. 

Maximum amount: $250.00

Deadline for submission of application:  Applications accepted on a rolling basis

Award notification date: Approx. 4-6 weeks after submission of application

Parameters for scholarships:

  • Internship must be at least 3-months (12 weeks) in duration.
  • Student must work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
  • Funds will be held until an intern is identified, but must be awarded within 12 months of the award notification date.
  • Can submit more than one internship job description, but an organization can receive only one scholarship per year.

Submit Application, include statement of need

Submit Internship Job Description

Submit Annual Budget and/or Financial Statement

Evaluation – to be submitted at conclusion of internship period

  • Report from student to hear about their experience
  • Report from supervisor to hear how experience went and effectiveness of stipend
