MAX Center Professional Staff The staff counselors at the Macalester Academic Excellence Center work with students in study habits and time management, as well as teaching in the counselor's departments. For a more complete list of areas of assistance, click on Programs in the above menu. The Macalester Academic Excellence Center also has 20+ student tutors available to help students in Biology, Chemistry, Math and Writing.
