Macalester First Aid offers scheduled First Aid/CPR classes throughout the year and an accelerated EMT-B course in J-term.

First Aid/CPR/AED

Macalester First Aid offers a BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR Class, accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).  MFA has four certified instructors:

Lauren MacNeill '14, Mark Skopec '14, Trang Tran '14, and Taryn Valley '14

Courses will be 5 hours long, and cost $20, which includes a course book and certification card. Upcoming dates will be announced and published on our Events Calendar.  Registration will be done through MFA's online store.

Wilderness First Aid

    This two-day course covers a wide range of wilderness medicine topics for people who travel and work in the outdoors. The course is offered in partnership with Macalester Outing Club and NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School).
