CONFERENCE 2008
This year's conference will be held at Concordia University in St. Paul
on October 9th from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
The cost will be $25.00 per attendee from member libraries and $30.00 per
attendee from non-members libraries.
As always, a delicious and nutritious lunch will be provided.
Registration and participant checkin begins at 9:30am in the Buenger
Education Center.

This keynote session provides an overview of changing patron
expectations & their implications for library interfaces, a tour of
Encore, details on the features of Encore 2.0, and highlights of some of
the things coming in Encore 3.0.
Afternoon breakout sessions include:
*WebPAC Planning & Implementation*
PRESENTER: Dinah Sanders -
Senior Product Manager, Innovative Interfaces
This session will bring everyone up to date on WebPAC features in
Release 2007, a reminder of the benefits of upgrading to WebPAC Pro,
hot
tips about using the free example sets with each release to keep your
catalog current, and a review of services relating to WebPAC such as the
WebPAC Refresher.
*Engaging Your Patrons & Saving Staff
Time*
PRESENTER: Dinah Sanders - Senior Product Manager,
Innovative Interfaces
This session will review many features & products you can use to stay
relevant to your users, empower patrons to act on their own behalf and,
as a by-product of that empowerment, free staff from
low-complexity/low-value tasks. My Millennium functionality is at the
heart of achieving these goals.
* Tech Toys *
A hands-on demo of some of the latest gadgets, like the Kindle, the iPod
Touch, and more. Attendees are invited to bring their own gadgets to share
with the group as well!
