MnObe Group

The libraries of the five institutions in Minnesota that form the MnObe Group, have a long history of informal cooperation. On May 2, 2003, the staff members from all five libraries came together to talk about ways we could collaborate and cooperate in a more strategic manner.

Strategic Partnerships: Opportunities in Changing Times, May 2, 2003, Macalester College featured well-known speaker, Maureen Sullivan, who helped us in focused exercises to discuss the benefits and risks of collaboration.

At that meeting, several groups formed based on shared interests. We hope to use this website to share information and keep the collaborative efforts going.

We hope to develop this website as a collaborative effort with individual institutions providing pages and content from their own sites.
