Fall 2008: MULCH MULCH MULCH ! It's harvest time and our second year in the new garden site has been a very good one. We've got bumper crops of ground cherries, tomatoes, mustard greens, potatoes and more. Even though it's fall, there's planting to do—garlic, beets and cover crops. The forest garden—which was only an idea a year ago—exists. It is our new venture into native plant based perenial polyculture. Very exciting. More to come on that.
