We're Moving! The MULCH garden was in its previous location (on the West side of the Macalester Field House) for over ten years. Due to construction starting on the new athletic building, the garden will be in a new location as of Spring 2007. Where are we? In Fall, MULCH members worked hard to move earth, bed frames, fences, cement blocks and bricks to the garden's new location by the Spanish House. Garden letter Past and current members of MULCH worked hard to ensure that the garden would have a home once construction started on the new building. Saying goodbye to the garden From late October to December 2006, the MULCH garden had a box for people to put comments, memories, and reflections on the old garden. To see some of their notes, click here. These and others may be used in an art project for the garden this spring. |
