Instrumental Auditions:
Instrumental auditions for the school year will begin on the Monday prior to the first day of class for new students and on the first day of class for returning students. Sign up sheets for auditions will be posted in the Music Department lobby beginning the last week in August. Select a day and time you wish to audition and then make sure you allow yourself ample time to warm-up before your audition.
Each audition will last about 10 minutes and you do not need to bring an accompanist. Prepare two brief and contrasting excerpts from either etudes or solo pieces. The audition will give us a chance to get acquainted and find the best ensemble for you to join.
Additional auditions can be held throughout the year upon request.
