Singing Scotsmen of Macalester
The Singing Scotsmen of Macalester is an ensemble for all interested male singers at the college. Designed to build camaraderie through musical excellence and performing, this group could be heard singing a wide variety of styles ranging from classical to pop music. This group's members are primarily non-music majors, and rehearse two days a week with one to two performances each semester. A simple pitch matching audition will be required to be in this ensemble; however, no prior choral experience is needed.
All interested men should stop by Dr. Rogers' office (Music 110) to sign-up for an audition time from August 22-27, 2008 and/or report to the first mass meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 4:45pm.
Rehearsals:
Tuesdays- 4:45-5:45 p.m.
Thursdays-7:15-8:15 p.m.
