Aaron Tesch '04 (Minneapolis, Minn.) is pursuing a Ph.D. in cognitive neural systems at the University of Arizona.

Merideth Addicott '03 (Rice, Minn.) is in her second year of a Ph.D. program in neuroscience at the University of Texas at Houston.

Ramaldo Martin '03 (Trinidad and Tobago) is pursuing a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at Georgia Technical.

Richard Albrecht '01 (Minneapolis, Minn.) is a junior scientist at the University of Minnesota.

Amber Erickson '01 (Duluth, Minn.) is attending the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Ben Shannon '01 (Duluth, Minn.) became the first Macalester student to win the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, which covers the cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and room and board for two years. He performed research on the role of the VR1 receptor ("hot-chili pepper receptor") in chronic pain. Ben is in the Ph.D. program in neuroscience at Washington University.

Doug Hoffert '00 (Eden Prairie, Minn.) works as a sales representative in St. Paul for a major pharmaceutical company.

Ann Choi '00 (Minneapolis, Minn.) is working in the laboratory of Dr. Sheldon Sparber in pharmacology at the University of Minnesota.

Mikkel Conradi '00 (Norway) works at Fast Search and Transfer in Boston.

April Miller '00 (Eagan, Minn.) is a clinical research coordinator at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.
