What: Alex Lemon will read from his best-selling book, Happy: A Memoir. He is at Macalester as part of the ACTC (Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities) Visiting Writer Series which invites accomplished authors to the Twin Cities for week-long residencies. Five times a year, host schools feature visiting authors in public readings. In addition, the writers share wisdom and knowledge with students from all five colleges in classroom visits and in private conferences.
                                   
Who: Lemon, who graduated from Macalester in 2000, teaches at Texas Christian University.
