I decided—with guidance from my academic advisor—to apply to the War Studies Department at King’s College in London for a semester study away. Spending three months in London, one of the crossroads of the world, with students from all corners of the globe— including British military officers—was an experience I’ll never forget. But the essence of the experience was the great courses I took: Intelligence in War Studies, War and Global Conflict in the Contemporary World, and Roman Britain. I was also able to continue Arabic, which I study at Mac.
