Tuesday's Speak Series was on the topic of “You Play (Ball) like a Girl!”: Women Athletes in the Community. The event featured an intimate and lively discussion that included female athletes talking about their experiences and work related to their roles as athletes, community members, and people in the spotlight. They were joined by a 2012 Olympic silver-medalist, the woman who owns the only female-operated boxing gym in the U.S., and a Division I athlete. This event was sponsored by the Lealtad-Suzuki Center.
