Some highlights of last week:

  • Bill McKibben visited campus on February 21 on his way to ski the 2013 American Birkebeiner in Wisconsin Feb. 23. 
  • The Macalester Connect+ Leadership Conference was held Feb. 22-23 with Fred Swaniker '99, founder of the African Leadership Academy; he provided the keynote speech. (Photos by Kasia Dybek and Tephie Sue Choza Macre)
  • The radio station WMCN hosted a mini festival at the Cedar Cultural Center.
  • Winners of the spring 2012 study abroad photo contest were announced.
