Although it is recommended that students come to campus with their own bank account and debit/credit card, the two banks in the area that students utilize the most are U.S. Bank (ATM in lower level of Campus Center) and Wells Fargo. Local branches are located at the following addresses:

Students may cash checks for up to $50 with a Macalester ID at the Student Accounts Office.
Students who are applying for work-study direct deposit should have their bank routing (ABA) number and their account number (checking and/or savings) in order to enroll when arriving on campus.
