MyStudentBody Alcohol & College Life Module
Welcome to Macalester! As an incoming student you are asked to complete a confidential, online interactive program designed with your health in mind.
*Complete this prior to your arrival on campus* (Available to complete as of June 15th, 2008)
MyStudentBody
Alcohol & Collge Life Module
“MyStudentBody—Alcohol” is a great way to learn about alcohol and college life. You’ll find:
- articles and Q&A updated weekly
- a personal assessment of your own behaviors
- info on expectations, consequences, and effects
- MN state laws and links to local resources
Student Login Instructions:
- Go to www.mystudentbody.com (this course will take 90 minutes to complete.)
- Scroll down as a first time user to “Create an Account”.
- Enter School Code: MacScots
- Create a unique username and password. Remember to write it down for future use. Complete all the information and click “Submit”.
- Complete the demographic information and click “Submit”. In place of a student id number, please use the last six digits of your social security number. Confirm the information.
- You will be directed to the MyStudentBody (MSB) lobby. Click on the icon “Alcohol”.
- Complete the 4 “Rate Myself” sections and review your personal feedback.
- One the page labeled “Home Page”, please select “REQUIRED TO BE HERE? Start Your Course” On the next page, select “FRESHMAN” as your requirement. You will be prompted to take a pre-quiz. You must complete this section before you can freely explore the rest of the Alcohol site.
- You will be directed to the “Course” section. Read all the sections. It might be helpful to take notes. You’ll need to remember this information to pass the post-quiz (80% or better).
- Once you passed the post-quiz, complete the satisfaction survey, and email your certificate of completion to yourself and to mystudentbody@macalester.edu. ****You must enter your name and email the certificate to register as “passed” on the website.
Other Important Tips
- Be sure to log out when you leave the MSB website, otherwise your information will not be saved and you’ll have to start over next time.
- All individual accounts are confidential, accessible only by the user. No one will be able to see your account.
