Avenue Q
Tues, 4/13: 7:30pm-11:30pm @Orpheum Theater |
Avenue Q is the story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He soon discovers that the only neighborhood in his price range is Avenue Q; still, the neighbors seem nice. There's Brian the out-of-work comedian and his therapist fiance Christmas Eve; Nicky the good-hearted slacker and his roommate Rod -- a Republican investment banker who seems to have some sort of secret; an Internet addict called Trekkie Monster; and a very cute kindergarten teaching assistant named Kate. And they're puppets who sing. what more could you want? Program Board will be taking 50 lucky Macalester students to Avenue Q at the Orpheum Theatre Tuesday April 13 for the showing at 7:30 (though we'll catch a bus around 6...)! $12 tickets include transportation. We have 50 tickets and will sell tickets on two separate days: Sunday March 28th at 7 pm at info desk and Sunday April 4th at 7 pm at info desk. **as always, one ticket per student- Mac students only- Thanks! |
