Public NightsPublic Nights is an ongoing event which allows the entire Macalester community to take advantage of the college's science-grade observatory. Fall 2009 Public Nights Thursday evenings from 8:00-10:00
Please call 651-696-8170 after 4:00 p.m. for an updated message on whether an event will be held on a given scheduled evening. To get to the observatory, take the elevator in the south west corner of the Olin Rice to the fourth floor. Weather permitting, the observatory is typically open for Public Nights about twice a week. Exact dates and times will be posted here. See St Paul Clear Sky Clock for more information on the best times to use the observatory.
