Public nights this semester will be held from 8:00-10:00 PM on the following dates:
Thursday, September 13
Thursday, September 27
Thursday, October 11
Tuesday, October 23
Thursday, November 8
Thursday, December 6
Please note that the public night observing session may be canceled on any given week due to cloudy skies or other inclement weather. You may call 651-696-8170 on Thursdays after 4 p.m. to hear a recorded announcement indicating whether or not the session will be held that evening.
Public Nights is an ongoing event which allows the entire Macalester community to take advantage of the college's science-grade observatory.

Observatory Tours/Observing sessions for private groups
It may be possible to schedule a private tour or observing session for a small group when our schedule permits. Please contact Brian Adams at 651-696-6456 for more information.
