Communicate Macalester's distinctive strengths and outlook more effectively to assist in recruiting outstanding students, faculty and staff and in attracting the resources we need to advance our mission.

Accomplishments

Advertisements placed in New York Times portraying aspects of Mac's identity, specifically international education, civic engagement and role of liberal arts colleges

Development of improved information on post-graduation destinations and achievements of graduates

Work in progress

Conduct market research on image and perceptions of Macalester among prospective students and families, 2003-2004

Future plans

Develop a plan and devote resources to a broad, sustained marketing effort to increase awareness of the strengths and unique qualities of a Macalester education
