Paul became interested in Latin America while in Nicaragua during the Contra War, and he has since lived in Peru, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. He is involved in organizations working on immigration, sweatshop labor, and prisoner rights, and he enjoys talking with students (in English or Spanish) about their future plans at Macalester and beyond.
On Wednesday nights he can be found dancing salsa at the Quest.
