- Benita Brahmbhatt
'00 (Buffalo Grove, IL) won the Watson Fellowship. She will depart for
Guyana, Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago, and Mauritius to study the Indian
Diaspora .
- Corine Hegland
'98 (Ames, Iowa) and Gretchen Rohr '98 (Billings, Mont.) both won Truman
Schoarships as college juniors, providing then with full funding for
five years to continue their studies directed to careers in public service.
Rohr also received a Rhodes Scholarship to study at Oxford University
and will attend law school.
- Christina Szitta
'98 (Bryant, Wis.) was awarded a prestigious Beinecke Brothers Memorial
Scholarship. She was one of only 18 students around the country to receive
this award of $32,000 to support graduate study.
