Tenure Track Faculty Positions 2008-2009
Philosophy
The Department of Philosophy at Macalester College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, to begin Fall 2008. The successful candidate should have a PhD in hand by time of appointment, and provide evidence of promise of excellence in and commitment to undergraduate teaching. AOS: open (though the Department is currently well-served in Ethics, Philosophy of Law, and Feminist Philosophy); AOC: History of Philosophy (especially Ancient and Medieval Philosophy).
