Charles C. Torrey, Emeritus Associate Professor (B.A., Swarthmore College, 1955; Ph.D., Cornell University, 1963)
Charles Torrey's degree is in experimental psychology. His research interests are in perception and perceptual theory, proprioception, and action. He is also an actor with a respectable record of achievement in local non-professional theater, and has a continuing interest in the psychology of acting. He teaches courses or seminars in perception, experimentation and statistics, psychology of drama, and ecological psychology. Selected publications include:
