NEUROANATOMY
Gee, I really don't have much interesting to talk about this week. We had a lab practical exam this week. Those are always fun. "Um, excuse me, where exactly is that pin stuck? Oh, ok, that doesn't help, but thanks." Actually, when I had practical exams in neuroanatomy last January, they went pretty well. But like I've mentioned before, a sheep brain is just harder to visualize structures on. I couldn't figure out which coronal slice I was looking at a couple of times; it is so hard to orientate yourself when looking at random slices of sheep brain. I got the cingulate gyrus (by the way, what the heck does that do anyway?) confused with the dorsal hippocampus. I should burn in hell forever. But hey, I got out of class in time the next day to go watch Batman (the animated one, it rocks), so I was all happy.
