Step into my parlor...

This is my homepage. This is a view into the little thoughts and aspirations that make me the conscious being I am. Feel free to check it out and lose yourself in the enigmatic world of neuroscience.

A little bit about me though. I am a sophmore International Student from the Republic of South Africa. Do you want to see how beautiful my country is?. I have no idea what brought me all the way from sunny South Africa to Minnesota but Macalester College has been well worth the long frigid winters and the twin cities are a haven for culture and for the arts.

My love for people has brought me to the field of psychology. It is thanks to all the gorgeously goofy people that I love both here in the US and abroad that has swept up my interest in the study of human behavior and it autonomous organ - the BRAIN! Give me more brain goo!

In January I went to Rome with the classics department to study the art and archaeology of ancient Rome. It was magical. Over spring break, I went hiking in Arizona. It took us 36 hours on a greyhound bus both ways but our little band of troops got to see quite a big portion of the US. Go Colorado, you are beautiful!

And at long last, I finally found some afrikaans to read! It was with great excitement at a late night net search session, that I came accross a wealth of afrikaans listings. Now, after 2 years of having no one to talk to, I have the net - my spanking new buddy. Nou hoef ek nie so baie te verlang nie!

By the way, I am an absolut (vodka) freak!
