Rabbi Barry Cytron has served Macalester for over 15 years teaching in the Department of Religious Studies. A rabbi in the conservative movement of Judaism, Cytron is actively involved in both communal and interfaith activities serving as the Jay Phillips Chair in Jewish Studies at St. John's University and the University of St. Thomas. He is the proud parent of a 1999 Macalester graduate.
