2008 Closing Information

Residence Hall Closings

Residence Halls Close to non-seniors on Tuesday, May 13 at noon. Students need to make a check-out appointment prior to noon on May 13 or 24-hours after their last final whichever comes first.

Residence Halls Close to Seniors and those working or performing for graduation on Sunday, May 13 at noon. Students need to make a check-out appointment with their RA/CA to to be out of their room prior to noon on May 13.

Storage

Storage is available on a limited basis due to space constraints.

* Only those students living on-campus in the fall 2008 may store on-campus

* Students may store a maximum of 5 reasonably sized boxes/trunks/bins. Those studying abroad for Fall 2008 (and planning to live on-campus Spring 2009) may store 4 reasonably sized boxes/turnks/bins.

* Students living within 150 miles of Macalester College may not store any items.

Storage Hours are:

May 7, 8, & 9 (8-10 p.m.)

May 10, 11, & 12 (2-4 p.m. and 8-10 p.m.)

* The last day to store items is Monday, May 12. Storage rooms will fill early. We recommend storing early since storage is on a first-come, first-store basis. Storage is not guaranteed.
