Room Draw is the process by which students returning to Mac choose where they would like to live on campus for the next year. You may choose your living space for the 2008-2009 academic year through a lottery draw.The lottery is based on your class year and your number of semesters on campus. Rising juniors and seniors are combined into one group and sophomores into another. Lottery numbers are randomly assigned via a computer program. NOTE: Current sophomores and juniors must request a draw number in order to participate in Room Draw. Request a draw number in person at the Residential Life office (Campus Center, 2nd Floor) or email your name and ID number to reslife@macalester.edu. Draw number requests must be in the Residential Life office by Wednesday, March 26th. Requests received after March 26th will be accepted but the numbers will be drawn from the end of the list. Current first-years do not need to request a number. A room draw number will be assigned to all current first year students because they are required to live on campus.
