Desk supplies: glue, highlighters, notebooks, paper clips, pens, scissors, stapler, tape, ruler, pencils, post-it-notes
Computer supplies: 3.5 floppy disks or zip disks
Lamps: NOTE - DO NOT BRING HALOGEN LAMPS. They are a fire hazard and they are NOT allowed in the residence halls. Other lighting suggestions: the Holmes 3-way Torchiere Light or 3 Spotlight Floor Lamp.
Cleaning supplies
Laundry bag/basket
Laundry Detergent/Fabric Sheets
Personal care products
Desktop or window fan
Surge protector and extension cords - must be UL approved
Rubber flip flops for the shower
A small carrying case or bucket to carry toiletries to and from the shower
Address book, envelopes, stationery, stamps, email addresses
Something to hang items on walls - NO DOUBLE SIDED TAPE OR NAILS. We recommend: 3M Removeable Poster Tape

Small refrigerator 2.0 or 3.0 cubic foot (these are available to rent on campus - you will receive rental information with your housing assignment in August or check out www.collegiateservices.com)

Extra furniture (all furniture in rooms at check-in time MUST stay in rooms)

Hot plate, open coil heater, toaster oven
Telephone, answering machine or modem: the College provides phones equipped with the College voicemail system and all rooms are ethernet ready
Candles or incense - they are not allowed in the residence halls
Drug paraphenalia (hookahs, bongs, water pipes, etc.)
Large appliances (freezers, stoves, etc.)
