Can I live on campus?
As space permits we encourage students to live on campus to be able to integrate themselves in to the Macalester College community. When you deposit you will be sent a room preference form that you can return to Residential Life to indicate your room preferences. You will receive notification of your housing status by July 1. If would like to look for a place off campus please visit our off campus housing listings.
What are my meal plan choices?
If you are living on campus you maybe required to have a meal plan based on where you are living. If you are living off campus you can elect to have the full meal plan option or the commuter meal plan. Information about all meal plans is available here.
Can I park a car on campus?
Many Macalester students elect to not have a vehicle with them on campus. Instead many elect to use our efficient public transit system or bicycles. If you would like to find out information about parking on campus please see this parking information.
Where can I get information about classes?
A great place to start would be the Registrar's Webpage. Otherwise your Admission Officer would be able to start you in the right direction as well.
Where can I get information about my Student Account?
Once you have your Macalester College username and password you will be able to access 1600 Grand our web self serve portal to access your student account information. If you do not have your username you can get general account information from the Student Accounts Webpage.
