My ‘Remember When’ stories:
· Going "out of bounds" in golf
After graduating, I served in the Army briefly, and then moved to St. Louis, Mo., where I was fortunate to have a wonderful career as a vice president of creative services and marketing for Maritz Inc., a multi-million-dollar sales motivation firm. I retired at the age of 54 and for the past 17 years, have been heavily involved as a professional golf rules official. It is a fascinating hobby and second career. Between playing golf and officiating, I am on a golf course at least 325 days a year.
In 1995, I was married in Hawaii to Susan, who has two wonderful children, and life could not be better!
