My ‘Remember When’ stories:
·
Dining in Wally Hall
· Why Jim really painted our walls blue
It’s been a wonderful life! I packed my belongings from four years at Mac into Jim’s car and moved west — to a house Jim was building while going to Law School and working at General Mills.
We have a son and daughter — each married — and three grandchildren. I taught six years at Southwest High in Minneapolis. When the kids began school I taught at various summer and evening schools in Minneapolis and ended my teaching career after five years at Normandale College.
Twenty-one years later we moved again — further west in Edina — where we live today. Not very exciting, but we do travel often. We had a sailboat on Lake Superior for 17 years. We still love to sail — in the Caribbean, the San Juan Islands or Lake Superior — especially with our family.
This June, Jim and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary right along with my 50th celebration at Macalester!
