Today (March 28, 2008) the sun is shining in beautiful Switzerland and I am getting ready to teach a business English class. The kids — three of them, ages 9, 12 and 14 — will come home for lunch, as usual and tonight my husband, Patrik, and I will have friends over to discuss the meaning of life. Some things never change!
I’m looking forward to the reunion!
My Mac Memories:
Two big yearly events had a big impression on me: the Scottish Fair and Springfest, especially 1983. I really enjoyed going to class at Mac. I think most of my courses were well worth my time. Two that stand out for me are Cultural Anthropology with Professor McCurdy (what a wonderful course!), and Creative Writing... I remember the feeling of completing my first year, the elation after final exams. I ran all the way from my last exam back to my dorm. I was free! Student organizations were also very important to me. I remember the ISO and all the fun we had. I remember MCF and wonder what has happened to the people I met through it.
