Website Structure and Style Guide
- This site, while hosted on the Macalester site, uses its own style sheets. The style sheets, which specify how the pages look (layout, typography, background graphics) are in a folder called "css" and include the following:
- base.css - layout and typography
- print.css - simple style for printing
- mobile.css - simple style for handheld devices
- clean.css - this is the "Bilibin" style with cherry wood background
- construct.css - this is the "Avant Garde" style with black background
- All the pages use one template, "clean.dwt"
- The typography is simple. The page titles use the "Heading 1" format and the body text (<p>) uses Verdana 11
