Virtual Russia: Museum Walk-Through

ArtProject lets you wander through selected rooms of the most famous museums in the world, and view the paintings much more closely than any security guard would ever let you in real life. The Hermitage Museum and the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow both participated in this project.

Take a virtual journey from Moscow to Vladivostok on the famous Trans-Siberian Railway. Visit the website of this Google/Russian Railways collaboration for the full-length video, plus audio (including recordings of Russian literature), and an interactive map.
