SAC sponsors SAC Coffee Breaks and SAC Soup Chats on a regular basis, hosts the SAC Fall Lunch, and plans Staff Week each Spring.

SAC Coffee Breaks 2012-13
Once a month during the academic year there is a SAC Coffee Break. The coffee break is an opportunity for staff to get together in the morning to share coffee, tea, or juice, and a snack; and have a chance to win the Minerva prize. Locations for the coffee break vary each month.

SAC Soup Chats Spring 2013
In addition to the coffee breaks, SAC also offers periodic "Soup Chat" lunch events where staff can gather to hear from a different office or area of the college. SAC provides a light soup lunch!

Mark Armstead from Linders presents, "Trends and Plants Moving Into 2013
In this segment, Mr. Armstead will discuss some of the current trends that are being seen and some on the not so distant future.
Every year new plant material comes out from breeders around the world. Mr. Armstead will take a look at some of the unique and “must haves” that grace our gardens. Be sure to bring questions, there will be time at the end to discuss any problems you have or hardships that need to be overcome.
Staff Week 2013
Staff Week 2013 will be April 22-26.
Staff and Faculty Recognition Lunch will be on April 18, 2013.
In May, we mix up the Coffee Breaks a little with an ice cream truck.
