Phil Lee '08
Did someone say Hot Song? You must be looking for Phil. Last concert Phil alone was responsible for causing 18 orgasms with his singing. He loves smoking, drinking, beer pong, and eating meat. This summer, he took classes at Mac, worked at Dixies on Grand and boozed on Selby. He is often spotted carrying a large glass jug full of something. Oh, and he's from Colorado. More

Jana Jett Loeb '08
Bunsuke (BOON-skay) spent a very Asian childhood in...well, Asia. Tokyo, Japan, to be exact. His interests include futbol, billiards, poker, t-shirts, and arranging hot songs for Scotch Tape. Bunsuke is a major Stevie Wonder fan, and loves to eat Korean BBQ. He spent his summer days being a corporate whore. More

Andre Schuetz '08
Andre Schuetz's hometown is the subject of much debate. Depending on how you see it, he is either from Tokyo or Kawasaki, Japan. He loves random chill sessions, singing, dancing, chasing the squirrels on campus, and bowing at people he's never met. As a young man, Andre's mom told him that "he never learned to walk", because he ran everywhere and injured himself a lot. Maybe his idolization of Michael Jordan had something to do with it? We don't know. This summer, Andre interned at Warner Brothers Japan and narrowly escaped a sandy death during a beach thunderstorm. More

The musical experience that is Anthony Berglund comes to us all the way from Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Political Science major enjoys singing, football, HOCKEY!, rugby, guitar hero, beer, and Downy Wrinkle Releaser. He names his grandma as his personal heroine. Bergie's summer consisted of driving forklifts, copying madical records, hanging out at Lake Calhoun, and staying up for 35 hours in a row and loving it. You can probably find Bergie eating Cafe Mac and watching "Dr. Strangelove." More

Jesse Carlson '07
Our favorite Sociology major Jesse comes from Northfield, MN. He loves Twins baseball, bass, singing, and frisbee. He's a little uncertain about his personal hero, but if he had to choose, it would definitely be the Dalai Lama or Johnny Knoxville. "White and Dangerous" Jesse's beauty secret is chicken makhani from Chapati. Jesse knows and likes a LOT of songs, and his musical stylings have been known to ring throughout campus, but his favorite is 90's alternative. His summer days were spent interning with a judge. More

Caleb Jonas '07
Caleb Jonas is a Poli Sci major from San Francisco. He enjoys politics, libraries and public transportation, but his favorite thing in the world is watching movies with U.S. presidents in them (Bulworth, The American President, Air Force One, Dave, The Sentinel, and First Kid, to name a few). This summer, he stayed in St. Paul and worked for the Metro Independent Business Alliance. The Caleb Jonas Fan Club headquarters is located in Highland Park Junior High School in Highland Park, IL. Regi Santiago '07
After 19 years in the tropical climes of the Philippines and Indonesia, Regi decided to move to Minnesota. No one knows why. She loves spending time with kids, and spends her days pouring milk into tiny cups at a kindergarten, pretending to be an ant at the Minnesota Children's Museum, and being a teacher aide at St. Paul Open School. This summer, she worked at a zoo and got paid to make peanut butter and jelly tortillas for polar bears. She is also the proud owner of a bright blue bike. More

Emily Calkins '07
Emily hails from Spokane, WA. Her interests are public transportation, cooking and baking, Jesus, and writing. "Semi-vegetarian" Emily loves to eat cous-cous with tomatoes, garlic and parmesan. She spent the summer working in a library and living in a frat house. She names her mom and her sister as her personal heroines (awww). More

Cara Harwood '06
Cara rocks. She also likes rocks. A lot. A Geology major and one of ST's star arrangers, Cara finally turned in her bio sheet. Therefore, I now know that she likes angry girl rock and classic boy band music. She grew up in Nebraska where she and her sister stuffed each other in broom closets. Sometimes ... when she's alone ... she Googles herself. Cara spent the summer examining dead grizzly bears in Yellowstone and being cut off from civilization.More

Dave Lerner '06
A Spanish major going into medicine (go figure), Dave just got back from studying abroad in Spain -- or more like ... many broads. Ha ... ha. Since being back, Dave spent the summer hanging out with doctors. Dave enjoys listening to the other Mega-Talented-Dave, Dave Matthews, as well as Bob Dylan and The Shins. He also likes eating Taco Bell bean burritoes and describes his childhood as "too short." Dave's parents are named Dean and Deana, and that anecdote is quirky enough that it needs to be in his bio. Dave comes from Des Moines, Iowa, where they tell jokes on Halloween when they go Trick or Treating. That's weird. More

Matt O'Connor '06
Full of Irish pride, Matt is finishing his time at Mac with a double-major in Spanish and Environmental Science. He likes listening to the Chieftans, eating potatoes, and admiring his hero, Great Grandfather O'Connor. He describes his childhood: "I used to play a lot of sports and the other kids thought i was smart. Turns out most of those other kids were kind of dumb." Often called "The Human Drum" around school ... wait, no one calls him that .. but he is a damn good beat boxer. Matt hails from Chicago, a small town in Illinois, where he spent this summer working at O'Connor Chevy Dealership at which he has no relations. "Unexpected!" More

Tamara Olson '06
The most talented sight reader in Scotch Tape* (they call her "the Queen of Rhythm" ... and she pretends not to notice the dripping sarcasm), Tamara spent last semester running away from box jellyfish on the Great Barrier Reef of Australia, while taking courses for her Humanities and Cultural Studies major. Moreover, she goes diagonal. And she builds websites for fun. Like this one. Tamara is from Montana. More

Dara Showers '06
Dara most likely spent last summer in a myriad of Irish pubs, drinking her liver rotten with her red-haired boyfriend who may or may not be a Trad (and definitely doesn't arrange music for Scotch Tape, ever). Dara likes baking, eating, organizing her calendar, listening to The October Project and eating Thai peanut curry and popcorn with soy sauce and nutritional yeast. (That's weird.) She had a childhood full of fun and plastic jelly shoes which inspired to work with kids this summer. Her dad, Denzil Showers, is one of Scotch Tape's most loyal fans. Dara and Denzil both hail from Beloit, Wisconsin. Dara wants a rice cooker. More

Jenny Foughner '05
The founder of ST, Jenny currently resides in a luxurious penthouse made for three on the fourth floor of Wallace 4 with her fish, Danny Tanner. A native of Highland Park, Illinois, Jenny continues to be the driving force behind the group as we know it. In her free time, she enjoys reading Cosmo, writing English papers (despite her fleeting affair with pre-med), and posting strange pictures of babies on her Facebook profile.

Evan Kennedy '05
Evan is very, very Swiss. A Computer Science from, yes, Switzerland (Geneva to be exact), Evan likes listening to U2, eating cheese fondue, playing computer games, working at Office Max, and admiring his hero, Paul Schulzetenberg -- that is, when he's not watching "Sex in the City" with his girlfriend.

Paul Schulzetenberg '05
One of ST's featured arrangers, Paul is always equipped with a good-natured smile and a computer joke that is assured to fly right over the heads of all the other Tapers (except Evan). Well-known for his infamous T-shirts, Paul likes to wear ties on his head. He also dances. He lists his favorite food as "alcohol" and admires They Might Be Giants. Paul is from Sauk Centre, MN.
