If Lelde were a drink, she'd be a grande vanilla latte. Lelde Ilzina comes to us from Latvia, though she has also spent time in Italy, Luxemburg and now (shiver) Minnesota. Lelde hates singing, but occasionally enjoys a good game of chess or knitting. As a child, Lelde hated coloring books and was bitten by a boy in her kindergarten class. His childhood flirtations only half worked, Lelde still remembers him to this day by the scar on her cheek and her memory, but she hates him. If only he had known that Lelde's greatest pet peeve is burping: "I don't really respond well to the therapy of burping out loud...that irritates me A LOT!" Look for our International Studying Lelde out and about in the library and Campus Center and, of course, center stage at the next Scotch Tape Concert.
