If Matt were a drink, he would be whiskey. "I'll keep you warm." Full of Irish pride, Matt is finishing his time at Mac with a double-major in Spanish and Environmental Science. He likes listening to the Chieftans, eating potatoes, and admiring his hero, Great Grandfather O'Connor. He describes his childhood: "I used to play a lot of sports and the other kids thought i was smart. Turns out most of those other kids were kind of dumb." Often called "The Human Drum" around school ... wait, no one calls him that .. but he is a damn good beat boxer. Matt hails from Chicago, a small town in Illinois, where he spent this summer working at O'Connor Chevy Dealership at which he has no relations. "Unexpected!" Quote: "Matt,
if the whiskey doesn't kill you, you'll live until you die." Scotch Tape Solos: The Irish Drinking Song (Spring 2004); Carry on My Wayward Son (Spring 2005); Le Rendez-Vous (Fall 2005)
